Sonia grew up immersed in international folk music, folk dancing, and folk festivals in the Washington, D.C. area. She took a long break, but got back into folk dancing upon moving to Portland, Oregon in 2005. When she's not dancing or biking somewhere, she helps people heal from trauma with intuitive, compassionate bodywork.
